Singer Adele Succeeds Despite Being Told She Wouldn�t

When Susan Boyle took to the stage at Britain�s Got Talent everyone doubted her chances of making it past the audition. However Susan proved them wrong. Singer Adele is one person who can most likely understand what Susan went through to realize her dreams because when Adele was starting out, she was constantly told to give up her dream of stardom. Good thing she persevered.

In a Female First report it was revealed that the Rolling In The Deep singer said she, �Had to bear the brunt of negative attitudes from authority figures, such as teachers, who led me to believe that success was unrealistic. So I chose to survive rather than live in a fantasy world.�

Full-figured and defiantly different, Adele used to sit on her sofa bed �hoping to God that one day I'd be a singer.� Adele also added, �Me and my friends at the time all had dreams and none of theirs were coming true, so I thought, 'Why the hell will mine?'�

But Adele made her dream come true. And at the 51st Grammy Awards in 2009, despite having had the lowest profile of any star up for the top awards that night, Adele took home the win for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
